Fully responsive authoring tool Gomo has launched a new drag and drop feature to add to its award-winning range of features.
Customers of Gomo, the multi-award-winning eLearning authoring and hosting tool will now be able to create even richer learning experiences with an easy-to-use ‘drag and drop’ asset, created in direct response to feedback from existing users.
Gomo’s new drag and drop asset can be used to create interactive question screens, resulting in more learner engagement with the course material. The new ‘drag and drop’ feature gives users the ability to check knowledge in a more tactile way by asking learners to sort items or statements into different categories. See how it works in this video below.
The new asset benefits assessments, as challenging learners to sort or categorize items requires them to apply knowledge in a different way to more traditional question types, such as multiple-choice questions.
With Gomo’s easy-to-use interface, learning design teams are able to easily incorporate the new drag and drop feature into their courses. The feature has been designed to look good on any device – because Gomo is fully HTML5 enabled, there’s no need to worry about problems with scaling across different devices as content will look great on any device.
“We're always listening to our customers and they have been asking us to add a drag and drop capability to Gomo for a while now,” said Mike Alcock, Gomo’s Managing Director. “We're delighted to now release this great new feature. The 'drag and drop' asset will allow course developers to create even more compelling and interactive content in Gomo than ever before.”
“This highly interactive HTML5 asset has been tested extensively to ensure a good learner experience across all devices – desktop, tablet, and smartphone. We look forward to seeing what our users can create with it."
To experience Gomo’s award-winning features, stop by stand B11 at Learning Technologies 2018 conference and exhibition, at the Olympia in London from January 31st to February 1st 2018. Mike Alcock will be demonstrating the new drag and drop feature, along with everything else you can do with Gomo, throughout the event.
